We look at segmentation for each of the individual parts of the business. Many large venue, multi USP type venues have food, drink, and entertainment as a part of what they offer, so it is important to segment your markets, and create targeted parts of the website as landing pages that clearly
We look at gluten free beer as an example that has a really good psychological trigger that can help you to find customers who are really excited to find your product.
How do you de-risk a transaction? This is an important part of the marketing process, but one that many venues miss.
How are you packaging your beverage sales? There are some cool ways that you can better package up some of your drinks that make it more appealing for your customers, increasing the number of first time customers and hopefully increasing the percentage return rate to increase repeat customers.
For a large venue, the lease is a significant part of the costs. How can you change the offering over the day so that you can maximise revenue per hour, for each and every hour of the day.
What are the cross-promotional opportunities with events?
If you have a band that is playing, have you thought about giving a special offer to their fans? This can really increase the revenue per customer by getting band fans in early for a drink or, even better, a meal and a drink!
Multi USP large venues are a bit more difficult to market, but there are a lot of events that can help drive customers in. You need to make sure that your website is quick and easy to update, because you might be uploading new events twice a week. This helps Google see how often the site is updated and that can help increase your Google rankings.
