New Restaurant Diary Feature added – Free for our customers

Ever since we introduced our Book A Restaurant feature, which we offered free to our web marketing toolkit customers, we have been looking for ways to improve on it.  Book A Table has grown to Australia’s largest booking system that is free for customers as well as being free for restaurant owners.  We are always looking to make it better though, so this week we have released one of our biggest improvements to the system to date.

Busy Restaurant

This week we released our free Restaurant Diary feature for Book A Table customers.  This allows them to see an electronic diary.  Bookings from Book A Table go into the diary, and you can add all of your phone bookings as well.  You’ll have just one place to check to see how busy you are going to be, and which days need a little bit of marketing help.

Restaurant Diary1

Restaurant Diary for Book A Table displays all of your bookings for each day in 1 convenient place.  We’ve made it easier for you to add your own bookings, whether in the kitchen, front of house or at home.  Restaurant Diary is cloud based, so you can access your bookings from home, the restaurant, even your mobile phone.  It’s quick and easy to use – so your staff will be up to speed in using it in no time at all.

Restaurant Diary2

We’ve worked hard to make Book A Table Australia’s best completely free booking system and much of the feedback from restaurant owners has built the improvements and new features that we have added to the system.  We would love to hear from you on what you think, and how we can make Restaurant Diary better for you, or what other features you would like to see in Marketing4Restaurants.

Remember – Restaurant Diary is a free add on for all customers using Book A Table, so there is no excuse not to throw out the old paper diary and move to our Restaurant Diary system.

Is Poor SEO Killing Your Restaurant?

Too many times we see customers with websites that are costing restaurants thousands of dollars every month through poor design, poor messaging and poor SEO. If your website could be improved to bring in 200 extra visits per month and just 10% of those made a booking, and each booking was for 2.5 seats on average at $50 a seat, you would have an extra $2,500 in revenue a month. A 30% food cost, that is $1,750 in profit extra a month. This ignores those customers coming back as regulars – which is more profit.

Remember, if these customers aren’t finding your Restaurant, they are finding your competitors.
